What would it take for an atheist to come to believe that there is a God, Jesus is God and that the Catholic Church is the Church that Christ founded? What might be his or her radical steps to conversion? Watch and find out!

“Convinced” a video from the library of “FORMED” is an interview of 22 individuals who offer their conversion stories.  I found this video a common rational and reasoned conquest of doubt and stereotyped views of the Catholic Church.  It offers clear examples of Bishop Fulton J. Sheen’s quote, “There are not one hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they wrongly perceive the Catholic Church to be.” Consider that these misconceptions may exist because of our own indifference.

The common threads of logic and reason, which bring about the conversion of this cast of 22, including Abbey Johnson, Scott Hahn, Patrick Madrid, Patrick Coffin, Mark Shaw, Taylor Marshall, Jeff Cavins and Francis Beckwith, is captivating. These are intelligent people with an incredible story to tell.  Convinced would make an interesting icebreaker for what might seem to be a difficult subject. Watch it yourself or with family, friends or young adults. A discussion afterward might be a lot easier than you think. Open your bible and look up 1 Peter 3:15 first.
